About Flagpuff
What it is
Flagpuff is a flag-learning game backed by a real dataset of 195 UN countries and observer states, plus territories and subnational flags (US states, Japanese prefectures and more). Flags come first — capitals, landmarks and coats of arms are planned.
How it works
Pick a topic, choose a difficulty and play a round. Missed flags are scheduled into your flashcard deck so you see them again until they stick. A free guest round is available with no account; the full app (every topic, the flag trail, flashcards, search and progress tracking) is a Premium subscription — see Pricing.
Accounts and Premium
Creating an account is free and only needs an email address. Premium is $5/month, billed by our payment partner Dodo Payments, and can be cancelled anytime from Settings.
Flag artwork credit
Flag images come from Wikimedia Commons contributors. Most are public domain or simple enough not to require attribution; the ones that do are listed with their author and licence on the Credits page.
Flag trivia bank credits
The flag trivia and flag ID challenges use a curated question bank with its own asset list, also listed on the Credits page — including the Jolly Roger flag (Dudaweyll, CC BY-SA 4.0) and the flag of Oman (OGL-om 1.0).
